Chippendale Carved Walnut Lowboy

    Chippendale Carved Walnut Lowboy having a molded top with notched corners, one over three overlapping drawers, the center of which is embellished with shell and streamer carvings, fluted quarter columns, a nicely shaped apron continuing to voluted knee returns and cabriole legs with shell carved knees ending in ball and claw feet, and retaining a fine old finish and mellow patina.

Philadelphia County, circa 1770.

Width 38" (35 5/8" at the case),  depth 21 1/2", height 29 1/2".
