Fine Chippendale Cherry and Poplar Chest-on-Chest

Fine Chippendale Cherry and Poplar Chest on Chest having an elaborate
cornice with molded dentille’s over two over four overlapping drawers in the
upper case, original brasses and four overlapping drawers in the base all on
beautifully executed ogee bracket feet centered by a shaped dropped pendant.
All original except for some customary minor repairs.
Norwich-Colchester, Connecticut, circa 1780.
Width 38¾”, depth 20¼”, height 79”.
